I have "finished" in quotes (in the title) because the pool was completed in March, but the entirety of the backyard will take quite a bit more time. We started filling the pool on 3/2/19 and then had to wait a month for the plaster to cure. This was the minimum. Mother nature decided that we should wait longer.
While we were building the pool, Las Vegas experienced one of the wettest winters in YEARS. This meant progress was slow. Once we filled the pool, we then had one of the coolest springs in recent memory. Really?!
Around mid-April we had family visit from Poland and we had a really fortunate warm 10 days or so. We kicked on our heater and were able to enjoy the pool while our visitors were here.
The pictures below are taken mostly during the one month wait after filling the pool.
