Is it really Friday?!...

Normally I get to the end of a weekend and wonder how it went by so fast.  As a nice change of pace, I am looking back at the work week and wondering the same thing.  Since watching my Dawgs get crushed in football last weekend it seems like everything just flew by.  I once again was met with a presidential election where I was not excited with either candidate.  The gloating by the victors turned me off even more when before that I was only mildly unexcited.  Now the attitudes I have witnessed since the election have made me actually not want to hear anything from our president elect.  I know that isn't really fair.  It isn't his fault some of his supporters don't know how to be adults.  Gloating by anybody is just an ugly way to act, regardless of which side you are on.

Work has been crazy crazy but I won't get into that here.  Those of you who work with me know what I am talking about.  Those of you who don't... it wouldn't be that interesting anyway.

The nice thing through all the whirling around in my life?... Every night I get to go home and see my wife.  I don't care what kind of day I have had.  She makes it all better the second I walk in the door and see her hunched over her computer reviewing formulas and equations.  All I can think then is... "life is good"...

*Note:  I just realized on a re-read of this post, one might think things are going bad for me.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  Things are uber-busy and there is a lot going on.  But everything is actually very good.  So Mom... if you read this... don't worry.  :-)
