Filtered glass; we all have it...

Ever known somebody that seemed to have it all? Wonder why things come so easy to that person when you have trials that seem unfair day in and day out?

The funny thing is that unless you know, and I mean 'really' know, that person, that means you are looking at that person's life through a window that filters out the bad and shows only the good. The fact is we all have problems. We all have stress. We all have insecurities. Just like we all have things that make us smile. The walls we surround ourselves with seem to be made just right to only let the good part show. Some walls have a broken window or two and we can see the troubles of others, but most seem to be bullet-proof.

The next time you observe someone that has it all and wonder why you don't, remember that the trouble kept on the other side might be worse than the problems surrounding you. We all have our houses made of glass, but often forget what others don't see until you wonder by a broken window.
